2-Way Bookshelf Monitor
The Sonus Faber Electa Amator is one of the most iconic compact loudspeakers in Sonus faber’s history. Originally introduced in 1987, it established the design philosophy that would become synonymous with the Italian brand: handcrafted construction, natural materials and a strong focus on musicality.
Hand-built in Italy, the Electa Amator combines a beautifully crafted solid wood cabinet with a distinctive marble base, creating a speaker that is as much a piece of Italian craftsmanship as it is a high-performance loudspeaker.
Design & Engineering
The Electa Amator features a 19mm dome tweeter paired with a 180mm mid-woofer, housed within a compact two-way bass-reflex design. The carefully matched drivers deliver a smooth, natural presentation with excellent vocal reproduction, detailed high frequencies and a surprisingly full sound from its compact enclosure.
Its solid wood construction and marble support help provide a rigid, stable platform for the drivers, while the distinctive leather detailing and handcrafted finish give the Electa Amator its unmistakable Sonus faber character.
