The Vertere PHONO-1 LX is Vertere Acoustics' most refined MM/MC phono preamplifier yet. A redesigned AC input filters out RF interference, and an upgraded internal DC power supply keeps the background quieter so the detail your records already had comes through clearly. A gold-plated PCB keeps every connection reliable, and a new 2-way earthing switch lets you toggle between Earth Lift and Earth Connection.
This phono stage isn't one-size-fits-all. Gain runs from 40dB to 63dB, resistance loading from 78Ω to 47kΩ for MC (47kΩ fixed for MM), and capacitance loading from 100pF to 1.02µF for MC — so it can be dialled in precisely for almost any moving-coil or moving-magnet cartridge. Specs come in strong too: <-78dB noise, 0.009% THD+N, and a flat 20Hz–20kHz frequency response (±0.2dB). It's compact at 210 x 240 x 55mm, and comes in Vertere Orange, Silver, Black, or Black Acrylic.
