At its core sits Focal's signature 6.5" Polyglass midbass driver, now paired with a new Poron suspension material for an even smoother, more refined sound. Combined with a 1" TNV2 inverted dome tweeter and an aerodynamic front port for lower distortion, the Chorus 706 delivers punchy bass, dynamic midrange, and a musical energy that feels fresh, rhythmic, and genuinely enjoyable to listen to — ideal for rooms up to roughly 20m² without ever running out of headroom.
Beyond the sound, the cabinet has been fully restyled with a more contemporary look, a new grille cloth design, and solid MDF construction (up to 25mm thick) for better rigidity and cleaner bass reproduction. Inside, a non-parallel inner wall structure and OPC crossover work together for precise, well-defined staging — all finished off with insulated Focal terminals.
