The Soulution 755 Phono Preamplifier is engineered to extract every subtle detail from even the lowest-output moving coil cartridges. Handling signals that demand extreme precision, it achieves exceptionally low noise, distortion, and phase error while offering more than 80 dB of gain — an amplification factor of 10,000. Fully compliant with RIAA-IEC equalisation standards, the 755 ensures faithful reproduction of every nuance on vinyl, delivering an effortlessly natural and lifelike sound experience.
Its dual-mono, unbalanced circuit design keeps the signal path as short and pure as possible, eliminating crosstalk and maintaining pristine channel separation. Two MC and one MM input provide flexible gain and impedance adjustment, while an IEC subsonic filter removes low-frequency rumble from warped records. The high-precision, passive volume control uses metal-foil resistors for absolute accuracy, with a programmable gain amplifier (PGA) ensuring smooth, click-free volume adjustments. For purists connecting the 755 through a separate preamplifier, the volume control can be completely bypassed.
Inside, a multi-stage phono module achieves an internal bandwidth of 1 MHz and perfectly mirrors the RIAA-IEC equalisation curve. Its output stage, derived from Soulution’s flagship 725 preamplifier, extends to 40 MHz and reproduces music with stunning spatial realism. Powering this performance are two dedicated, ultra-stable power supplies — one for the audio path and one for digital control — featuring over 500,000 µF of storage capacitance for virtually limitless impulse current. The result is a phono stage of extraordinary precision, speed, and musical transparency — a true reference component for the analogue connoisseur.
