The Audio-Technica AT-VM520xEB is the newest iteration in Audio-Technica’s long-standing VM cartridge lineup, building on the foundation of the older VM520EB model with a range of refinements designed to elevate both performance and usability.
The VM520xEB is part of the updated AT-VMx series, which introduces material and design improvements over the original VM520EB. These include enhancements to the generator and coil construction for better efficiency and more dynamic sound reproduction.
Dual Moving Magnet design: Like the VM520EB, the VM520xEB uses two magnets positioned to mimic the stereo groove walls, aiding strong channel separation and extended frequency response.
