Big Sound, Small Footprint, Honest Price.
The AIME Timbre is built for music lovers who want serious hi-fi performance without a serious price tag. Designed for desktops, shelves and compact listening rooms, this handcrafted Malaysian speaker pairs a clean ash veneer finish with an acoustic design that punches far above its size and its price.
At just RM1,300, the Timbre is one of the most affordable ways into true audiophile sound. Because every AIME speaker is designed, handmade and tuned locally in Malaysia, you pay for the sound, not for import duties, overseas shipping or inflated brand premiums. You get the craftsmanship of a boutique speaker at an entry-level price.
Whether you’re working at your desk, relaxing in your study or setting up your first hi-fi system, the AIME Timbre delivers an open, lively and musical presentation that keeps you playing “just one more track.” It also works with a wide range of amplifiers, so you don’t need to spend big on electronics to enjoy it, from compact Class D amps to low-powered tube amplifiers.
Design & Engineering
At its heart is the Mark Audio CHN-70, a single full-range driver engineered for coherence and natural tonality. With no crossover, there are no crossover-induced phase shifts, just seamless sound from sparkling highs to a tight, controlled low end. A concealed double bass reflex port keeps bass punchy and defined without muddying the mids. Each cabinet is handmade in small batches, finished in genuine ash veneer, sealed with hard wax oil and voiced by ear by a team with over 35 years of listening experience.
