The Krell KSL is a one-box line controller/ preamplifier with high-bias Class-A design with balanced and single-ended inputs/outputs, and strong dynamic performance.
It also offers clean, controlled bass, clear midrange, and a wide-open soundstage with excellent transparency and stereo focus. Its design features a main chassis of steel, the top cover is of aluminum-alloy. Related to the power-amplifier circuitry, the KSL's line amplifiers are also all-discrete, using cascode pairs of differential FET and bipolar stages. Top-quality components are used throughout.
Built to Krell’s high standards, it’s a reliable vintage piece that pairs well with quality power amplifiers and elevates analog or digital sources.
