The original Glider was introduced in 1993 and has become one of the most beloved cartridges around the world from Benz Micro’s line of fine cartridges.
The improved “S” series
All Benz Micro products are hand made to the highest specifications in Switzerland. Benz Micro has made many notable improvements across the structure to one of its most popular cartridges. The S series features coil winding has an overall lower-mass coil, a refined pole piece/damper design and further refinement of the solid Boron cantilever. The stylus is a nude line-contact diamond that has been mirror polished.
“S” stands for Superlative!
The results are astonishing with “The Absolute Sound” noticing its “superlative” tonal balance. The latest Glider provides even greater resolution and us more dynamic, with a rich and open sound. Enjoy your records, the way they were meant to be enjoyed! The cartridge pulls out details and emotions with an honesty that will leave you bewildered.
Everything you need
Aside from the cartridge, the box contains a bubble level, a stylus brush, a small flathead screwdriver and a number of mounting screws. Each cartridge is factory-tested, and as well as a spec sheet, the cartridge comes packaged with its own individual test report in graphical form.
At Audio Image, we do provide services to set up your cartridge for you as well. Do give us a call to see if this cartridge is the right recommendation for you.
